 Hope Academy is a
Christian Boarding Home for At-Risk Girls, Ages 13
through 18. We aspire to reach and liberate girls from
negative behavior and habits. Through God's love, they
can be transformed into productive citizens and blessings
to their parents and the community.
Teenage
girls, who possess a poor self image, are more likely to
become depressed and entrapped in the world of alcohol,
drugs and sex. Learning disabilities, ADD, and ADHD add
to the pressure of common teen problems. As a result,
many young women are looking for detrimental shortcuts in
order to fit in. Hope Academy is located on 24 Acres (The
Garden) and is
equipped to share the truth with each girl and to help
her to understand her purpose in this world.
We are
dedicated to the Spiritual, Mental and Physical Welfare
of our students. Helping them understand the Lord and
themselves directs their lives toward positive goals and
achievements.
Our
approach is simple and direct. Respect for authority is
the first principle taught in our ministry. When
mastered, our program focuses on encouraging spiritual
maturity, ethical conduct and positive social interaction
which will enable each student to adapt to the real
world.
It
takes a short period of time to turn a young lady
around. However, it requires about 12 months for
her to change a lifestyle of bad habits and, more
importantly, replace them with a lasting pattern of
positive successes.
